Resilient Flooring Layer Examination - Applicable untill January 15

The examination is 3 hours long. It contains 60 questions and each question is worth 1 point. The required passing grade is 60%. The materials for your use during the examination are provided to you. They are: a pencil, a sheet of paper, a calculator and an eraser. No other material or reference document is allowed during the examination.

Section 1 - Surface Preparation (20 %)

Health and safety rules
Removing existing flooring
Surface preparation (wood, concrete, new or already covered)

Section 2 - Laying and Repairing a Carpet (35 %)

Glued, broadloom and carpet tiles:
- Checking the material
- Preparing the worksite
- Laying the undercarpet
- Putting the broadloom carpet in place
- Putting the carpet tile in place
- Finishing
- Laying a glued carped in a staircase
- Checking installation quality
- Repairing a glued carpet that is already installed
Stretched carpets:
- Installing smooth edges
- Laying the undercarpet
- Putting the carpet in place
- Finishing
- Laying a stretched carpet in a staircase
- Checking installation quality
- Repairing a stretched carpet that is already installed

Section 3 - Laying and Repairing Resilient Flooring other than Carpets (45 %)

Resilient flooring, in rolls or tiles (vinyl, rubber, linoleum, etc.):
- Preparing the worksite
- Laying the flooring (including for sporting facilities)
- Gluing the flooring
- Finishing
- Checking installation quality
- Repairing resilient flooring that is already installed
Artificial grass flooring:
- Preparing the worksite
- Laying the artificial grass
- Installing lines, numbers and logos
- Fastening the field perimeter on the ground
- Filling the field
- Finishing
- Repairing artificial grass that is already installed
