CONSTRUIRE en santé Program — 1 800 807-2433

Construire en santé is the MÉDIC Construction program for health promotion and management. It aims to improve the health of insureds and their dependents while reducing the costs of the insurance plan. Its approach favours changes in life habits if these habits are linked to mental or physical health or the consumption of medications.

The program is offered to insureds covered by most insurance plans and their dependents. Excluded, however, are the R3 plans (RC3, RE3, RF3, RL3, RM3, and RT3) and plan Z.

The publication Pour une industrie en santé is a source of information (in French only) on health and wellbeing for individuals and their families. A new edition is available each season. Consult the most recent editions.

To access the front-line service, MÉDIC Construction insureds and their dependents can call 1 800 807-2433, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Their situation is then evaluated and the insured is redirected to resources that may help him or her.

Construire en santé gives confidential access to different professional services, including:

  • Assistance services aiming at resolving family, psychological, and other problems and offering remedial instruction and occupational therapy services
