The CCQ has published its review of activity in the construction industry for the third quarter of 2022. 

After a second quarter that reached historic peaks, activity slowed in the third quarter of 2022. Although hours worked rose by 3.3% over the same period last year, the rate dropped by 7.2%, in annualized, deseasonalized terms, in the third quarter of 2022. 

There were 189,000 employees working in the third quarter of 2002, 4.9% more than during the same period last year.
