New social benefits contribution rates for all sectors

As provided in the Act Respecting Labour Relations, Vocational Training and Workforce Management in the Construction Industry (Act R-20), because agreements were concluded by at least three union associations representing more than 50% and by at least two employer associations representing more than 50%, the common clauses of the collective agreements (or “core section”) will apply to all four of the industry’s sectors, despite the fact that the residential sector has not yet concluded a sector-based agreement.
